The Annual People's Festival 2010 was held on the 31st December 2010 in Devanampattu village. More than 4000 people participated in the program. The program started at 9.30 am with Flag hoisting and continued with games and competitions for women from Self help groups, people with disability and Children from Thulir program and followed by Cultural programs by them. Srs.Theodore Isaac, Alphonse and Mrs. Cathy Bowman our special guests on the occasion.
This year festival was coordinated by the local Panchayat level Federation(PLF) of Self help groups for the first time, thus taking the legacy forward to organize this festival in the years to come by other federations. Vedanthavadi PLF has come forward to host the next festival in the year 2011.
